Hi, I’m Cinda Steele, the founder of Reno Crittercare. We’re pet sitters in the Reno, Nevada area. My lifelong love of animals has shaped who I am and the work I do today. Over the past 30+ years, I’ve been lucky enough to care for all kinds of pets — my own dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles — as well as the beloved pets of friends, family, and clients.
My experience
I have decades of hands-on experience, so I’m confident in managing all aspects of pet care. This includes administering medications, following special diets, handling medical needs, and caring for animals with unique personalities and requirements. My top priority is always the safety, comfort, and happiness of every pet in my care. I believe that open communication with pet parents is key to providing true peace of mind.
I’ve hired a lot of pet sitters, so I know the difference between good and exceptional care. Reliability, trustworthiness, genuine compassion, and a strong understanding of animal behavior are all essential qualities in a great sitter, and I try to embody all of them in every visit.
Why I started Reno Crittercare
After enjoying a fulfilling career in corporate leadership, where I worked in account development and market research, I decided to follow my heart. Now, I get to combine my professional skills in customer service and communication with my love for animals by offering dedicated, high-quality pet care to the Reno community.
